Liver is an organ situated in the abdomen, and that has very important functions in our organism. It is responsible for the secretion of the bile which is essential for the body purification and the digestion. It has also a big role on the defence of the organism by transforming and eliminating drugs and toxic substance. Finally, the liver synthesizes a lot of essential molecules for the body.
